Siobhan Rowden author of The Curse of the Bogle’s Beard Siobhan Rowden was born in Scotland, and brought up in England. She comes from a large Irish family with four older brothers. Consequently, she is very competitive and unbeaten at table football, much to their annoyance. As a child, Siobhan wanted to be a detective. She loved reading, and was a big Secret Seven fan. She and her best friend would search their village looking for adventure. Unfortunately, all they found was a car battery which they were convinced was about to blow up. It didn’t.
